About the NFA

The Non-Ferrous Alliance (NFA) is a group which comprises of the major non-ferrous metals industries on the UK. These associations are:

• The Aluminium Federation;
• British Non Ferrous Metals Federation;
• Lead Development Association International;
• Nickel Development Institute;
• Zinc Information Centre.

NFA is an umbrella organisation for the associations and Federations serving the non-ferrous metals industry. The NFA was set up in 1996 to formalise the existing working relationships between its member organisations and to act as a channel of communication with Her Majesty's Government, particularly on issues that are of commom concern to all parts of the non-ferrous metals sector.
